Ice Skating Birthday Cake

An ice skating cake for an ice skater!  We were asked for something seasonal, pink and purple with ice skates.

Of course we dipped the skates in edible glitter and decorated the cake with a wreath of rosebuds, glitter, ice and a row of bling.

Bar Mitzvah For Jake

Jake and his father came to my shop looking for a cake for Jake's Bar Mitzvah.  Simple enough one would think, but Jake didn't know what he wanted.  I asked him what his favourite colours were and he said he liked all colours.  

Jake likes boating, going to the cottage, skiing and going to his father's scrap metal yard....and apart from that, Jake likes everything.

So here's a cake with everything!
