More Cakes

Gold and lace cake with a ribbon of navy blue and an antique finish - Liuna Station - George Room

Purple roses, and lots of them for this beautiful, modern wedding at the Hamilton Art Gallery.

Celebratory cake for McMaster's PGY 3's graduation ceremony....doctors, obviously!

Pretty little pink birthday cake.

My dear friend Wal's birthday on New Year's Day (hence the clock face on the top of the cake).  Champagne and carrot cake is a perfect combination for midnight!

Lily's first birthday with this pink Chanel cake with pretty pink and silver tiara.  Little fashionista in the making, clearly.

Paris.........Oh Paris, what can I say?

Mini cake for Amal's birthday ordered as one of her surprise gifts from her husband.

Bon Voyage - Paris Cake

Our clients daughter was off to Paris for a year and ordered this cake with a Parisian flair for the Bon Voyage party and coincidentally birthday party.
All parts were edible from cameos to roses to picture frames even the Eiffel Tower itself.

Paris Skyline

Now here's a fun cake that we made this summer using for inspiration the couple's very interesting invitations.  The royal blue invitations featured the Paris skyline with lots of stars.  The envelope was bright orange which matched the bride's orange gerbera daisies.  We incorporated all the elements with the all important Paris skyline.

You guessed it, this lovely couple got engaged in Paris and wanted to carry this theme throughout their wedding.

A Cake For Cyrus

Cyrus is one!  A Sesame Street cake was in order for this little lad, with bright colours and a big #1 with Elmo jumping out of his cake.

I have made a few cakes for this little family who were referred to me five years ago by a friend.  First I did Michelle's bridal shower cake "An Afternoon In Paris":

Then I did Mummy and Daddy's wedding cake covered in hand made sugar fruit including my first ever hand made pomegranate (Tony's absolute favourite fruit):

And finally little more than a year ago we were asked to make the baby shower cake:

As always, it's an absolute pleasure to make a milestone cake for this little family.

Happy First Birthday Cyrus!

After the event we received the following:
"Hi Lynne,
Thanks again for Cyrus' cake- it was fantastic!! He absolutely loved it and so did we!"
