Zebra....

Sweet Sixteen cake with a little 'wild side'.  Deep purple bow and flowers.

A last minute Christmas birthday cake...more zebra a little bit of bling, jewels (edible diamonds) and a candle in the middle making this the perfect centerpiece allowing you to have your cake and eat it!

A little shot of springtime among all these festivities produced this pink and ivory cake with colourful accents and edible lace for a 25th birthday.

Christmas Cookies

We couldn't find the frankincense and myrrh but one thing we did use a lot of this year was gold!
Here are our hand decorated Christmas cookies painted with 24k gold dust, all pretty and dressed up in their silver and diamond cake stand, how festive is that?
Don't forget to order your valentine cookies very, very early!
Although we don't do many cookies for 'chance sale' we do have lots of cookie orders and request that we get them well in advance, these little babies take hours to decorate!

Merry Christmas

Batch of cakes ready to be packed up and sent to their owners.  More about each one below.

All Wrapped Up

Litttle cakes all wrapped up as a Christmas gifts.  Hand painted motifs and miniature flowers finish the wrapping papers.

Burgundy and Gold

This little two tiered cake with an antique flair would make a perfect centrepiece for any end of the year gathering.  24k gold was painted on to the ornate embellishments and the burgundy poinsettia topped the cake matched with burgundy berries which were really shiny.

Frosty The Snowman

I have to admit, I'm a sucker for these little miniature cakes on the Lou Hanson cake stands, how cute is this?  It's only 4"!  Our delighted clients have reported that they get five or six portions of cake out of this size!  This one was fruit cake with rum drenched dried fruits, lots of spices...mmmmm.

Christmas Candle

I can't admit to being the inventor of this idea....a candle centre piece and a cake all in one!

Here's an example of two of the many, many 'candle cakes' we made this Christmas in all different colours and styles.
Poinsettia flowers are perfect as they can be white, red, pink or burgundy and always, always make things look cheerful and festive without screaming Christmas at you.
