I made this cake for Michelle for her bridal shower. She was one of my first clients and so I didn't have very much experience with fancy cakes. The bridal shower theme was "An Afternoon in Paris" and was everything French.
I designed a cake that looked like a Camembert cheese, complete with slice cut out. I made a champagne bottle from chocolate which was painted with both silver and gold and had the bride's initials on the label. The small cheese knife was a real one, but the handle was covered in sugar and embossed with sugar roses.
