This book cake was ordered for a 60th Birthday party for a doctor who's interest were antiquing, the British Royal family and his field of work for 30 years rhumatology.You can see in the picture that the antique side of his interests were prime, but we added the stethoscope and the medication for the doctor side then tried to incorporate rich golds and antique silver for the royal side. The small frame at the front of the cake had inserted "Happy 60th Birthday Bill".
Here is what the client wrote afterwards:
"Hi Lynne,
The cake was amazing!! No one even knew it was a cake and thought it was too pretty to cut up.I tried two of the flavours the lemon and the strawberry and they were light and fluffy and delicious. Didn't have to cut up the last layer so I didn't get to try the last. I loved the writing for the British royal family book and the feather. I was very proud of "my" cake and was showing it off.
I would highly recommend you to anyone wanting a cake. It was perfect.
