I was extremely lucky to be invited to this event also! They sent this beautiful Paperless Invitation you must click on the link to see it, it was so beautifully presented.
So prestigious and glitzy, Champagne, sushi and an extremely beautiful two coloured chocolate fountain. All of Toronto's top wedding stylists, photographers, planners, designers...everyone was there (at the Park Hyatt) for the launch of the new book. I had the time of my life hobnobbing with lots of TV personalities and those that I've read about in magazines over the years.
There was a wedding cake at the event which was cut and served. A delicious chocolate and raspberry cake made by the Cake Opera, an amazing sugar artist and one whom I admire greatly. I can finally say I got to eat a slice of her cake! It was delicious. Alexandria (Cake Opera) was also there along with Konstadin Cadeau (Cakes By Konstadin) and Lori Hutchinson (The Caketress), as far as we could tell there were only four of us cake designers invited, quite a privilege.
My husband, Ben, accompanied me to this event, the two of us had the best time ever people watching. He really is good company at these events, I can take him anywhere.
The Chicago launch was at the Trump Towers, bet that was fun too!
