Roses and Thistles - Ancaster Old Mill

What do you get if you marry an English rose to a Scottish thistle?  Well, you get a wedding cake that looks like this!

The top tier had rose sprays around it with a Swiss dot pattern and the bottom tier had the Scottish thistle.

We then made a bouquet of sugar roses and thistles.
