When we get enquiries from brides asking for consultations we always recommend that they bring certain elements such as a list of their chosen flowers, copy of the invitation, colour swatches and a picture of the wedding dress.
Here is a perfect example of how we can tie in a cake design and a wedding dress.
The bride made the bottom tier a traditional black cake which we covered with marzipan and decorated with fondant and a black lace design. We then put a top tier on and used the dress design as inspiration for the jewels.The bride was carrying white hydrangeas, so we completed this look with white hydrangeas.
