A very unusual wedding cake celebrating the season and the beautiful cherries that are coming into our stores here in Ontario. This cake was covered in almond paste/marzipan which is tastier than fondant but gives a beautiful golden finish.
All the cherries were also made of marzipan and were hand painted.
