Mellow Yellow

Soft yellow, pretty diamond trim finished with white garden roses  and ivy leaves, all made out of sugar of course.
Did you know that fresh ivy is poisonous and must never be put on to cakes?
Here at Let Them Eat Cakes we never put fresh flowers on our cakes and don't sell cakes undecorated for food safety reasons.  All our flowers are either edible (ie made from sugar), silk or parchment.  The nice thing is they always look fresh (you don't get wilted flowers on your cake cutting pictures because the flowers have been stuck in a cake for hours) and you can keep them after the wedding.
It is interesting to know that most times it is cheaper to go with the sugar flowers than with fresh flowers.
