The next one in our shabby chic trilogy is this one which was a cake we donated to a local nursing home where it was auctioned off for charity.We tried out a new technique for making roses and included small blossoms, pearls and lace pieces, all edible of course. The ivory background added to the vintage feel with the Swiss dot added for an extra lacy effect.
